Account Manager, Affiliate (open to Senior)

The Account Manager at Klay Media will serve as a key driver of business growth, client success, and internal team performance across both our Mobile and Agency divisions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage client relationships, oversee digital campaigns, identify new business opportunities, and lead internal teams to success. The ideal candidate is proactive, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management & Growth
- Serve as the main point of contact for key client accounts across Mobile and Agency divisions.
- Oversee client budgets and identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Provide weekly reporting and updates to clients, highlighting optimizations, premium traffic performance, and campaign outcomes.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities within existing portfolios and develop strategies to grow client revenue.
- Attend client meetings, providing updates on content, influencer campaigns, and performance metrics.
- Foster trust and communication by being highly responsive and solution-oriented.
Campaign & Project Management
- Manage and oversee the execution of content, influencer, and affiliate campaigns from concept to completion.
- Develop editorial pitches, seasonal guides, newsletters, and promotional materials to support client goals.
- Identify and pitch new brands for content and influencer collaborations.
- Coordinate sample send-outs and manage ongoing communication with partners, editors, and influencers.
- Review affiliate placements to identify and fix broken links and update out-of-stock items
Strategy, Reporting & Optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize customer acquisition, retention strategies, and overall campaign success.
- Monitor campaign performance and platforms (Impact, CJ, Appsflyer, etc) to optimize strategies and ensure compliance.
- Track placements, content performance, and affiliate engagement using internal and client-facing trackers.
- Analyze data and provide insights to clients and internal teams to drive better results and inform future strategy.
- Responsible for platform maintenance and optimization to enhance LTV and ensure accurate performance reporting.
Leadership & Internal Collaboration
- Support and mentor internal team members to improve performance and achieve target goals.
- Keep leadership informed on account health, client growth, team progress, and emerging business opportunities.
- Lead project timelines and ensure successful completion of initiatives against deadlines.
Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in account management, affiliate, or mobile UA, with client-facing responsibilities.
- Prior experience overseeing a team or mentoring junior staff.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort in reviewing and interpreting numerical data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset.
- Highly goal-driven, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in a mix of marketing platforms and campaign management tools is a plus (CJ, ShareASale/Awin, Impact, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch).
Compensation: Base rate of pay starts at $75,000.00 based on experience, plus commission.
